Technical Game Designer
Role
Worked as a technical game designer, designing and implementing gameplay systems and solutions for both multiplayer and single-player experiences.
Core Responsibilities:
Scripted key gameplay features in Lua, including objectives, NPC behaviour, dialogue systems, and cinematics across multiple levels.
Tested and updated gameplay built using in-house UGC tools.
Maintained and implemented updates for the multiplayer friendship system.
Designed and built test levels to validate game mechanics, and identify and replicate bugs.
Collected and analyzed data from playtests and surveys, translating player feedback into actionable Jira tickets.
Collaborated closely with design and engineering teams to define feature requirements, address potential dependencies, and troubleshoot issues.
Maintained and updated project documentation in Confluence and managed workflow with Jira to ensure clear communication and efficient progress tracking.
