Technical Game Designer

Role

Worked as a technical game designer, designing and implementing gameplay systems and solutions for both multiplayer and single-player experiences.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Scripted key gameplay features in Lua, including objectives, NPC behaviour, dialogue systems, and cinematics across multiple levels.

  • Tested and updated gameplay built using in-house UGC tools.

  • Maintained and implemented updates for the multiplayer friendship system.

  • Designed and built test levels to validate game mechanics, and identify and replicate bugs.

  • Collected and analyzed data from playtests and surveys, translating player feedback into actionable Jira tickets.

  • Collaborated closely with design and engineering teams to define feature requirements, address potential dependencies, and troubleshoot issues.

  • Maintained and updated project documentation in Confluence and managed workflow with Jira to ensure clear communication and efficient progress tracking.
